Are your visits in person or via telehealth?
All visits are conducted virtually through secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom calls. This gives you direct 1:1 access without the stress of travel, parking, or waiting rooms. Whether you’re at home or at work, you receive the same high level of personalized care with greater flexibility and convenience.
Do you perform Well Woman Exams?
We don’t perform Well Woman exams, mammograms or pap smears. These in-person visits can be handled by your gynecologist or primary care provider.
We focus on delivering advanced, personalized care through precision medicine. This includes tailored hormone therapy, DNA-informed protocols, microbiome support, and longevity strategies—all designed to meet your unique needs and go beyond what a typical well-woman exam covers.

Can you review lab tests I’ve done elsewhere?
Yes. we can review and interpret outside lab results as part of your visit as time allows.
How do I pay for my lab work?
Labs are ordered through Labcorp or Quest. You’ll pay the lab directly, usually using your insurance. Our office doesn’t handle lab billing or file insurance claims, so any coverage or costs are between you and the lab.
If you don’t have insurance—or prefer not to use it—reach out to our Care Team. We can provide a direct-pay link through Full Script, which offers discounted cash pricing.
I’ve already done hormone testing elsewhere. Can I use those results?
Many at-home or third-party labs don’t provide the depth or clinical context needed for safe, personalized hormone therapy.
If you’ve completed testing within the past year, and want us to review the results, we recommend booking a Core Diagnostic Consult.
During that appointment, your practitioner will review your results, along with your history and symptoms, and let you know if they’re sufficient or if additional testing is needed.
Why is testing important before starting hormone therapy?
Hormones impact everything from sleep and mood to heart and bone health — and getting the dose right matters. Many providers prescribe based on symptoms alone, but that approach can lead to under- or over-medication, or miss underlying issues entirely.
At Precision FemCare, we rely on advanced lab testing to understand how your body metabolizes and absorbs hormones. This ensures your treatment is not only personalized, but also safe and effective — backed by data, not guesswork.
Do I need to live in Texas to be seen by your doctors and nurse practitioner?
No — you don’t need to live in a particular state to work with our practitioners. However, you do need to be physically located in Texas, New York, or Tennessee at the time of your telemedicine appointment.
Whether you’re at home, staying in a hotel, or visiting temporarily, you can schedule your virtual visit as long as you’ll be in one of these states during your appointment.
If you’re not in one of our licensed states yet, we’re happy to help you schedule a time that aligns with your visit.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. We accept both HSA and FSA cards for payment. Just be sure to confirm with your plan administrator that your appointment and any related expenses qualify for reimbursement under your specific plan.
Do you take insurance?
We are a direct-pay practice and do not bill insurance. This model gives us the freedom to spend more time with you, use advanced testing, and deliver highly personalized care—without the limitations of traditional insurance.
If you’d like, we can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) after your visit. You may be able to submit it for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.
Can you prescribe hormones at the first visit?
While many providers prescribe based on symptoms alone, we use advanced hormone testing to ensure your treatment is guided by real data, not guesswork.
What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

Need to reschedule?
Please notify us at least two business days in advance if you need to reschedule. You’ll have up to one year to use your rescheduled visit.Thinking of canceling with no intention of rescheduling?
If you cancel at least two business days in advance and choose not to reschedule, you’re eligible for a 50% refund. We recommend rescheduling instead, so you retain the full value of your appointment and stay on track with your care.Late Changes and Missed Appointments
Any reschedule, cancellation, or missed appointment within two business days of your scheduled time is considered a late cancellation. These appointments are non-refundable and cannot be credited.
