General Information
Do you perform Well Woman Exams?
We don’t perform Well Woman exams, mammograms or pap smears. These in-person visits can be handled by your gynecologist or primary care provider.
We focus on delivering advanced, personalized care through precision medicine. This includes tailored hormone therapy, DNA-informed protocols, microbiome support, and longevity strategies—all designed to meet your unique needs and go beyond what a typical well-woman exam covers.
Think of us as your partner in personalized, cutting-edge care, while your in-person provider takes care of routine physical exams.
Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA payments?
To provide truly personalized, integrative care, we operate outside the constraints of traditional insurance systems. This allows us to dedicate the time and attention needed to thoroughly address your unique health concerns and design tailored treatment plans that prioritize your goals.
If you have an HSA or FSA, you may be able to use those funds for our services—please confirm with your provider beforehand. Additionally, we can provide Superbills for services with standard billing codes, which you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. Keep in mind that coverage varies, and some services may not have standard codes.
Our goal is to deliver exceptional, individualized care that goes beyond the limitations of insurance-based healthcare.

What makes Precision FemCare different?
At Precision FemCare, we take an integrative approach to women’s health, going beyond symptom management to uncover what your body truly needs. Led by Dr. Dian Ginsberg, we use advanced testing like genetic analysis, comprehensive bloodwork, and hormone evaluations to create personalized care plans tailored to your unique biology.
Unlike traditional medicine, which often offers generalized solutions, we provide a comprehensive, precision-focused approach to hormones, gut health, brain function, and more—helping you feel your best today while building a foundation for lasting wellness.
What kind of medications can your providers prescribe?
Our providers prescribe both traditional medications and compounded formulations, which are custom-made to address your specific health needs. This includes hormones like progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone, as well as other medications tailored to your care. By offering personalized solutions, we ensure your treatment is uniquely designed to help you feel your best.
Can I provide lab results from another doctor instead of doing your initial labs?
Our providers require a comprehensive and up-to-date set of data for your initial consultation. To ensure all necessary information is available, we order specific initial labs before your first visit.
You’re welcome to upload recent lab results from another doctor along with your intake forms, but this is optional and not a substitute for the required initial labs.
What ages of patients do you serve?
We currently provide services for patients aged 18 and older. Genetics-based precision medicine is an emerging field with specific restrictions around DNA testing in minors.
We’re hopeful that, as this field evolves, we’ll be able to extend our services to younger patients.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. Here’s how our cancellation policy works:
- If you cancel at least two business days before your appointment, you’ll receive a 50% refund of your consultation fee. The remaining 50% can be applied as a credit toward a future appointment for up to one year.
- There is no cost to reschedule your appointment if done at least two business days in advance.
- For cancellations made within two business days of the appointment, the consultation fee is non-refundable and non-creditable.
If you have any questions about your appointment or need to reschedule, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help!

Hormone Replacement Therapy
How do I know if I need hormone replacement therapy?
If you’re experiencing significant symptoms like heavy bleeding, hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, or brain fog, hormone replacement therapy might be an option.
To ensure we recommend the best treatment, we conduct detailed blood labs, a symptom assessment, and a full health evaluation. These steps help us identify whether hormone therapy is the right choice or if other treatments, such as lifestyle changes, supplements, or non-hormonal options, may be more suitable.
Our personalized approach ensures your care plan is safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs.
Does perimenopause require hormone replacement therapy?
Perimenopause, the transitional phase leading up to menopause, is marked by fluctuating hormone levels that can cause symptoms like irregular cycles, hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, and brain fog.
In the early stages of perimenopause, not everyone requires hormone replacement therapy. Often, lifestyle adjustments, nutrition support, and protocols like our FemGen Blueprint are effective in managing symptoms. For those with more pronounced or disruptive symptoms, advanced hormonal testing and a comprehensive health evaluation help us determine whether hormone therapy or another personalized approach is the best solution.
Our goal is to provide clarity, relief, and a tailored plan that works for your unique needs.
How can hormone replacement therapy benefit women in menopause and beyond?
Bio-Identical Hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) can provide significant benefits for women in menopause and beyond by addressing both immediate symptoms and long-term health risks associated with hormone depletion.
BHRT can help:
- Alleviate symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness
- Improve sleep quality, energy levels, and mood stability
- Enhance cognitive function and reduce brain fog
- Support bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis
- Protect heart health by improving cholesterol levels and vascular function
Using a personalized approach, we evaluate your hormone levels and overall health to determine if BHRT is appropriate for you. For many women, BHRT not only improves quality of life but also supports long-term health and well-being in the years after menopause.
Why do you require testing when prescribing hormone replacement therapy?
Testing is essential for safe and effective hormone therapy. Detailed evaluations, including blood labs and advanced hormone testing, provide critical insights into your hormone levels and how your body absorbs and metabolizes them.
With this information, we use compounded bio-identical hormones to fine-tune prescriptions for precise dosing tailored to your needs. This minimizes the risks of over- or under-medication often seen with symptom-based dosing alone. Regular follow-up testing ensures your treatment stays safe, effective, and responsive to your body’s evolving needs.
Why do you use compounded bioidentical hormones instead of patches, pellets, synthetic hormones, or preset one-size-fits-all dosages?
We use compounded bioidentical hormones to provide a personalized, adaptable approach to hormone therapy that other methods simply can’t match. Here’s why:
Custom Precision Dosing:
Unlike patches, pellets, or standard doses, compounded hormones are tailored to your unique needs. This precision is especially important during perimenopause, when hormone levels can fluctuate daily, ensuring you get exactly what your body requires.Improved Absorption and Fewer Side Effects:
Compounded bioidentical hormones closely replicate the structure of your body’s natural hormones. This design enhances absorption and minimizes the risk of side effects. Synthetic hormones—and even some off-the-shelf bioidentical options—don’t achieve the same level of compatibility with your body.Flexibility for Evolving Needs:
Pellets and patches release a fixed dose, leaving no room for adjustment if your hormonal needs change. Compounded hormones allow for real-time adjustments to your treatment as your body’s needs evolve.Truly Personalized Care:
One-size-fits-all solutions may work for some, but we believe in tailoring care to align with your body’s unique rhythms. Compounded hormones let us design a therapy plan that’s uniquely yours, giving you better results and greater comfort.
This approach ensures your treatment is safe, effective, and designed specifically for your health and lifestyle.

Schedule with Dr. Dian Ginsberg for a comprehensive evaluation and to be prescribed hormone therapy. With dual board certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine, she brings decades of expertise to women’s hormonal health and personally conducts all hormone therapy consultations, evaluations, and prescriptions.

What does a typical treatment plan look like?
Each treatment plan is unique but may include a combination of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) based on testing, targeted supplements, followups, guidance on nutrition, exercise, and sleep to help you feel your best.

During your appointment, we’ll provide a comprehensive analysis of your results and outline the next steps tailored to your needs.
I’m worried about what my DNA might reveal. Should I do this?
It’s completely normal to feel apprehensive, but there’s nothing to fear. We don’t focus on identifying single markers tied to specific diseases. Instead, we analyze pathways—a combination of multiple genetic markers—to understand your body’s strengths and weaknesses. This approach highlights opportunities for optimization rather than delivering alarming results, empowering you to take proactive steps toward better health.
