Frequently Asked Questions
Do you perform Well Woman exams?
We don’t perform Well Woman exams, mammograms or pap smears. These in-person visits can be handled by your gynecologist or primary care provider.
We focus on delivering advanced, personalized care through precision medicine. This includes tailored hormone therapy, DNA-informed protocols, microbiome support, and longevity strategies—all designed to meet your unique needs and go beyond what a typical well-woman exam covers.
Think of us as your partner in personalized, cutting-edge care, while your in-person provider takes care of routine physical exams.
How do I know if I need hormone replacement therapy?
If you’re experiencing significant symptoms like heavy bleeding, hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, or brain fog, hormone replacement therapy might be an option.
To ensure we recommend the best treatment, we conduct detailed blood labs, a symptom assessment, and a full health evaluation. These steps help us identify whether hormone therapy is the right choice or if other treatments, such as lifestyle changes, supplements, or non-hormonal options, may be more suitable.
Our personalized approach ensures your care plan is safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs.
Which provider do I see for hormone replacement therapy?
Schedule with Dr. Dian Ginsberg for a comprehensive evaluation and to be prescribed hormone therapy. With dual board certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine, she brings decades of expertise to women’s hormonal health and personally conducts all hormone therapy consultations, evaluations, and prescriptions.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Ginsberg is a member of the Menopause Society and is actively engaged in cutting-edge research on hormone pharmacokinetics (absorption) and advanced testing methods, keeping her at the forefront of innovation in hormone therapy.
If I have both gut health and hormone related issues, who should I see first?
Who you see first depends on your most pressing concerns:
- If hormones are your primary focus, start with Dr. Dian Ginsberg for a comprehensive evaluation of your hormonal health and overall well-being.
- If gut health is your priority, schedule an appointment with Sheila Vuckovic, who specializes in microbiome health, nutrition, and nutrient optimization.
If you’d like to address both concerns simultaneously, contact us, and we’ll help coordinate appointments with both providers for your convenience.
If I'm in my 30's, still have my period, but am experiencing symptoms, who should I see?
Symptoms such as fatigue, mood swings, irregular periods, weight gain, brain fog, or trouble sleeping can often indicate hormonal imbalances. However, because these symptoms can overlap with other health conditions, it’s not always easy to pinpoint the cause on your own.
A consultation with Dr. Ginsberg can provide clarity. She will analyze your blood tests, assess your symptoms, and perform detailed testing to identify any imbalances or underlying issues. Based on her findings, Dr. Ginsberg will guide you through the next steps to restore balance and improve how you feel.
If I'm having trouble getting pregnant, who should I see?
- For most cases of undiagnosed pregnancy challenges, we recommend starting with Sheila Vuckovic. Sheila specializes in microbiome health, nutrition, and nutrient optimization—key factors in fertility. A healthy microbiome supports hormone regulation, reduces inflammation, and enhances egg quality and implantation potential. Sheila works to create a balanced internal environment by addressing nutrient deficiencies, improving gut health, and optimizing your body for conception and pregnancy.
- If you prefer a board-certified doctor’s evaluation of your labs or need a comprehensive assessment of hormonal imbalances, schedule an appointment with Dr. Dian Ginsberg. While she does not perform in vitro fertilization (IVF) or other invasive fertility procedures, Dr. Ginsberg specializes in identifying and addressing systemic or hormonal factors affecting fertility. After her evaluation, she often refers patients back to Sheila to implement the deeper, long-term solutions needed for success.
Both providers work closely together to ensure your care is personalized and effective. If you’re unsure where to start, contact us, and we’ll guide you to the right provider.
If I have PCOS, who should I see?
- For most cases of PCOS, we recommend starting with Sheila Vuckovic. Sheila focuses on addressing the root causes of PCOS by optimizing nutrition, improving microbiome health, and enhancing insulin sensitivity. Her expertise in creating a balanced internal environment can naturally alleviate many PCOS symptoms, such as irregular cycles, weight challenges, and inflammation.
- If you prefer a board-certified doctor’s evaluation of your labs or need a comprehensive medical assessment of hormonal imbalances, schedule an appointment with Dr. Dian Ginsberg. Dr. Ginsberg specializes in identifying and addressing systemic or hormonal factors related to PCOS. After her evaluation, she often refers patients back to Sheila to implement the deeper, long-term solutions needed for lasting success.
Both providers work closely together to ensure your care is personalized and effective. They are also co-authors of a book on managing PCOS, highlighting their combined expertise and collaborative approach to providing the best care. If you’re unsure where to start, contact us, and we’ll guide you.

You’re welcome to upload recent lab results from another doctor along with your intake forms, but this is optional and not a substitute for the required initial labs.
